Freedom Day USA

                            Picture

So I really was under a rock or something, because I apparently missed something called Freedom Day yesterday. There was a large spread on the back page of our local newspaper about it today and I just thought it was really great and had to share. Freedom Day, in case you are wondering, is a day when businesses across the country join together to show their appreciation to active-duty members fo our armed forces and their families and our veterans. It is a day for these businesses to offer items for free to these members to show their support and gratitude.

The best part of the spread in our paper was that there was an address listed to send a "Thank You" to an American military veteran. The address is:

Kid Scoop
PO Box 1802
Sonoma, CA  95476

We will be sending out cards this weekend, even though we are late, to show our gratitude for all they have done to protect our freedoms.
