Prom Dress to Impress!
*this post does contain affiliate links, however we were in no way compensated for our review
So we had a crazy busy weekend in our house. Not only was it Mother's Day weekend, but it was prom weekend for our high school. Ok, my daughter's high school, but hey, it used to be mine too. I was worried in the weeks leading up to this about the cost. Well, I must be doing something right, because my daughter took to the Internet to search for the best prices on prom dresses. And she did great research. She found a great site with incredible prices on dresses. Promgirl.com is the place to look if you want a great price on a great dress. We were down to the wire on ordering her dress, so were a bit stressed when we had only a week and a half left until the big day when we placed the order. We just did the free shipping, which estimated 3-7 days, and were pleasantly surprised when the dress arrived on day 4, with one week left until the dance. Oh and the best part, the dress was 50% off what we would have paid in a dress shop!
My daughter received so many compliments on her dress as well. It was a perfect fit, wonderful light material so that she could move and dance, yet still form fitting enough she did not feel as though she would have an issue with the dress being strapless. I must say we were so very pleased with our find and will be shopping there again for her dress needs in the future. They also have graduation dresses, homecoming dresses, and so much more.

Lowe's Build & Grow: Mother's Day
Does your little one still need a gift for mom (Sunday is Mother's Day)? Well there is still time to register for the Lowe's Build and Grow workshop taking place on Saturday May 09, 2015 starting at 10 am. I must say, if it is the planter in the picture, I would take my 15 year old if she didn't have prom to prepare for tomorrow (yes, that is an all day event, so if you have not reached that stage, brace yourself :). This planter is super cute, and the best part is the workshops are free. Want more information? You can visit Lowe's Build & Grow's homepage to check out this workshop and the other great events they plan.

Guys Trying the Pregnant Belly!
Ok, so I am supposed to be studying for my final exam in US History tomorrow, but I just had to check my Facebook before I settled in with my notes. And boy am I glad I did, because I found a real gem. Now I do not know these guys, but I just had to share so all the moms out there can get a chuckle out of this as well. They do try to bleep out much of the cursing, but I am going to give the warning that the do have some, so if it might be really offensive, you might want to skip this one. The Try Guys are so hilarious though so brace yourselves. This mom really enjoyed this video and cannot want until the rest of the series is released. In honor of the upcoming Mother's Day holiday, enjoy!
