Lowe's Build & Grow~ Holiday Train Engine

                                

Registration opens December 1st for the only Build and Grow workshop Lowe's will be offering in December. Your children will have the opportunity to build a festive holiday train engine on December 13th. The workshop begins at 10 am and is as always free. Be sure to get registered early if you would like for you child to attend. You can find more information on the Lowe's Build and Grow site.

New Member of Our Family!

So we recently got a new puppy in our home. After two years of putting it off and waiting, the perfect doggie actually found us I believe. Our newest addition is Miss Chanel and she fits so perfectly in our family.

 

 

Chanel is a Pomeranian, Chihuahua, Dachshund mix and is just the sweetest little thing. She was just 2 pounds when she came into our family and two months later is now at 7 pounds. Her Dachshund breed is showing more the older she gets, but with the other two breeds I believe she will not get too long or too big. We are so happy to have her in our family! <3 p="">

McDonald's Voluntary Hello Kitty Recall

Just received this notice in my email and wanted to pass along to our families. If your child received this toy, please be sure to take it to your nearest McDonald's to return it and receive a new toy.   Voluntary Happy Meal Hello Kitty Recall

Nothing is more important to us than the safety of you and your family. We wanted to give you a heads up that we have decided to voluntarily recall the red whistle included with the Happy Meal Hello Kitty Birthday Lollipop toy (#6) in the U.S. and Canada after recently discovering that components of the whistle can detach, posing a hazard  to young children. If you have received this toy, we ask that you immediately return it to your local  McDonald’s restaurant. The whistle can be removed from the figurine. We’d be  happy to offer you another toy, as well as your choice of either a yogurt tube or bag of apple slices. Daylight Savings Time~ "Fall Back"

 

Don't forget to set those clocks back one hour at 2 am on Sunday, November 2nd, 2014. Now is also the perfect time to check those batteries in the smoke detector/ fire alarm/ carbon monoxide detectors and check your fire extinguishers since we will be firing up those heaters and woodstoves soon.
