McDonald's Voluntary Hello Kitty Recall

Just received this notice in my email and wanted to pass along to our families.

If your child received this toy, please be sure to take it to your nearest

McDonald's to return it and receive a new toy.

Voluntary Happy Meal Hello Kitty Recall

Nothing is more important to us than the safety of you and your family.
We wanted to give you a heads up that we have decided to voluntarily
recall the red whistle included with the Happy Meal Hello Kitty
Birthday Lollipop toy (#6) in the U.S. and Canada after recently
discovering that components of the whistle can detach, posing a hazard
 to young children.

If you have received this toy, we ask that you immediately return it to your local
McDonald’s restaurant. The whistle can be removed from the figurine. We’d be
happy to offer you another toy, as well as your choice of either a yogurt tube or
bag of apple slices.

No other designs in the current Hello Kitty and Max Steel sets are involved in
this voluntary recall, nor are toys affected from previous Hello Kitty promotions.
We are committed to recovering the red whistles that were distributed to our
restaurants and our customers.
