Are there really enough words to say how thankful we are for our freedom? I am always at a loss as to how to truly express myself on these days, since the gratitude I feel is so overwhelming. So although I feel it is never enough, thank you to the men and women past and present who have worked to give us the freedoms we enjoy in our nation today. I know that this holiday was orginiated by the adoption of our Declaration of Independence, but without those men and women, we would not have been able to make ourselves a free nation and continue to be so today. Happy 4th of July everyone!

My DG Kraft Promo Trip

I did this trip Sunday while my Country Time coupons were still valid (they expired 06.30.13). This will probably not be my only trip while this promotion is going on this week, but just thought I would share the first one. :)

I did one transaction of three pitcher packs at first to be sure they would work. That looked like this:

3 Country Time Strawberry Lemonade @ $1 = $3
DG instant savings = $2
(1) $1/2 Country Time Q
Final cost OOP: just the 3 cents tax!!!! :)

Onto the next transaction:

6 Country Time Strawberry Lemonade pitcher packs @ $1 = $6
1 Whales @ $1
DG instant savings on 6 = $4
(3) $1/2 Country Time Qs = $3
Final cost OOP: just the 8 cents tax!!!!!

Really think I am gonna love this deal this week, already looking at other scenarios to put together with this sale. :)

This week DG has a great promotion in which when you purchase 3 participating Kraft items, you will instantly receive $2 off  your transaction. There are some great freebies and money makers with this deal, so check your Qs and head on out.

Some great things I see include:

receive instant $2 off
and use (3) $.70/1 coupons printed from coupons.com

Final price = $ 1.10 MM (which means you will need something else in the transaction to eat up the overage as DG does not allow cash back- YMMV on actually getting the overage as some stores may only accept coupons up to the total sale amount adjusting down the second coupon and not allowing a third)

Jello $.75

Purchase 3 @ $.75
receive instant $2 off
use $1/3 Jello coupon, if allowed
